I have always felt a sense of honour making the bridal bouquet for the people I love, but this one was extra meaningful. Bianca and I have been looking forward to this day for over 20 years and being a part of her wedding day was extra special because of the special bond Bianca and I have.
To create round feminine feel with the floral design, we used hydrangea, quicksand and playa blanca roses, white lisianthus, white delphinium, and some touches of clematis for added whimsy. For candles, we opted for neutral colours and a white ceramic holder to compliment the flowers. We were sure to incorporate a lot of candle light in the design to offset the depth of the black backdrop.
Bianca and Giancarlo’s sweetheart table was truly the star of the show with a custom geometric arch, lush floor pieces, and arrangements that looked as if they were floating. The delicate clouds of blooms and neon sign also looked striking against the black backdrop, and it allowed us to really see the movement of all the arrangements.
For the guest tables, we went with two different designs. One with an array of candles and single flower type bud vases and the other with a low centrepiece and pillar candles. The family tables were fully adorned with a combination of centrepieces, bud vases, and taper and pillar candles. The juxtaposition of the romantic warm candles, delicate floral design and the modern black and neon details really made their wedding a night to remember.
