Sometimes an unexpected colour palette really lands well and is so incredibly memorable. Liana and Matthew’s wedding just exuded the warmth and feeling of Thanksgiving and I felt like a piece of pumpkin pie at their reception.
For their colour palette with opted for white ranunculus, cream butterfly ranunculus, white and yellow lisianthus, fluffy white larkspur, romantic toffee roses, and textural solidago. We loved how the toffee roses complimented the bridesmaids dresses and the autumn inspired foliage we used!
For their ceremony arch it was all about capturing the essence of fall through colour and texture so we used copper beech, smilax, hydrangeas, smoke bush foliage, and white amaranthus. We created dramatic winding arrangements on the geometric stands and when repurposed at the head table, the arch framed Liana and Matthew beautifully and brought the refreshing crisp feeling of the outdoors inside.
Following this theme we did a combination of high and low centrepieces for the reception. The colours tied in with the fall coloured candles and the lush tall greenery centrepieces really added height and dimension to the space. The warm colours of the autumn foliage paired with the candlelight made the space feel incredibly inviting and popped against the black candle sticks and fixtures.
